My journey to becoming a therapist was a long road of wrong turns that kept leading me back to who I am today, a therapist and I would not change a thing. I truly love my work as a therapist, it is an ever changing story. I started off wanting to be a CEO of a big company when I was growing up and even though all my family and friends and career tests said I should be a therapist I thought no way I want to be a corporate raider, umm ya no, that was so not me by any means. I did my stint with a business career that was very unfulfilling and honestly boring. Then I had the opportunity that led me to where I am now. I became a therapeutic care provider for developmentally and intellectually disabled individuals (children, adolescents and adults), and wow that was amazing! During my career working with a variety of individuals with DD/ID I was able to go ahead and let fate take over and become a therapist. During this journey I have had the pleasure of working with so many amazing people with a variance of mental health, relationship and sexual issues.

*I am currently a student in the Ph.D in Clinical Sexology Program at Modern Sex Therapy Institutes. (Projected completion February 2024).
